What services does Sundown Roofing & Construction offer?
Metal roof installation, metal roof repairs, metal roof replacement, custom home building, pole barn construction, shops and garages, siding, concrete pads, foundations and carports. Roofing is the core of it, but the same crew pours the slab and puts up the building.
Do you only do metal roofing?
Metal is our specialism and most of our roofing work, but it is not all we do. We build the structure underneath as well — post-frame barns, shops and ground-up homes — and pour the concrete they sit on.
What areas do you serve?
Most of North Arkansas and a good part of Southwest Missouri — from Fayetteville across to Mountain Home, and north to Branson and Springfield.
Do you charge for estimates?
No. Estimates are free, so you get a scope and a fixed number rather than a verbal figure that moves later.
Can you do the roof and the building together?
Yes, and it is usually cheaper. One mobilisation, one set of trips, and the roof-to-wall junction gets detailed as a single thing instead of two trades meeting in the middle.
Do you work on commercial and agricultural buildings?
Yes. A large share of our work is on working buildings — poultry houses, equipment sheds, shops and barns. On those we usually recommend heavier gauge panel than the minimum, because of what is underneath.
Is financing available?
Finance options are available. Ask when we come out and we will go through what is on offer alongside the estimate, so you see the total cost rather than only a monthly figure.
How soon can you start?
It depends on where you are and what the work is. Towns closer to Harrison get looked at sooner; the far edge is a scheduled trip. We would rather give you a date that holds than a vague promise that slips.
Do you repair work done by another contractor?
Yes, and a good share of our repair work is exactly that. We will tell you what we find, including if the original installation is the cause, without any interest in making it sound worse than it is.
Will you tell me if I do not need the work?
Yes. Condensation in an unvented shop gets mistaken for a leaking roof all the time, and the fix for that is ventilation, not a new roof. We would rather say so than sell you a repair you do not need.
